Telco Stores Through the Years

Brooklyn Beginnings (1972)

Telco Stores, based in Brooklyn, opened its first store in 1972, building a strong foundation as a community-focused retailer.

Staten Island Expansion

In 2001, Telco followed many loyal customers to Staten Island, opening its first location on Forest Ave, and then expanding again a few years later with a second Staten Island store on Hylan Blvd.

Resilience & Commitment

After the Hylan Blvd shopping center was demolished in 2017, Telco stayed committed to Staten Island—continuing the search for the right new home to serve the community.

The Next Chapter

Telco expanded into Harlem in 2023, bringing the Superstore experience to more New York City shoppers—then in 2025 opened a second location in the Bronx, continuing the brand’s commitment to the community.
